Snow Reports

UW: It fell most of the day, but it never stuck. On the other side of Portage Bay, though, there was snow on the roofs of houses on Capitol Hill.

I-5/85th: At 5pm there was a little bit of snow on the ground, fitting the National Weather Service definition of “trace.”

Broadview: A full inch of wet, sticky snow. It helps to be 400 feet above sea level.

So, how much where you are?

It snowed most of the afternoon in South Lake Union, but didn’t stick. For some reason, I thought “not sticking” meant “melting before actually hitting the ground.” This means that when we left the office for lunch I shrieked, “Look! It goes all the way down!” in surprise.

I’m relatively sure they’ll never let that one go.
