It’s no surprise to find out that the sight of a person in uniform sends some people’s hearts all aflutter. Yet, you don’t really expect the people wearing the uniforms to shed them and take the rest of the day off for an opportunity to cash in on authority lust. Last week, the story of what happens when one member of a domestic disagreement turns out to be hot for cops:

A Seattle police officer called to a fight between a man and a woman made no arrests and took no report, instead quitting his shift early to take the woman involved to his place for sex. . . . his punishment was reduced to five days. [p-i]

Pretty much every sentence of this article is stranger and more hilarious than the next. If it hasn’t already been done, this seems like just the sort of story to be “ripped from the headlines”, turned grittier, and made into an episode of Law and Order, doesn’t it?
