		<description>Obvious suggestion here - have you tried the Globe cafe near 13th and Pine? If anywhere has good vegan pumpkin pie, it&#039;ll be them. I seem to recall they have quite an assortment of spectacular vegan deserts.</description>

		<description>Argh!  I miss pumpkin pie.  Back in my pre-vegan days, I made a really mean pumpkin pie.  I&#039;ve tried, but this is one thing I haven&#039;t been able to find a decent vegan substitute for.  We bought  a vegan pumpkin pie at Madison Market last year, made by Flying Apron Bakery, but it was really awful.  (Not only vegan, but also a wheat-free crust.  Feh.)  I guess the sad truth is that you really can&#039;t make a proper custard without eggs ...

And, yes -- big thumbs up on Caffe Ladro&#039;s coffee. Yum.</description>
