Tackling Hurricane Relief
In what has to be the perfect way to raise money and tap into Apple Cup fever, the Space Needle has announced a new fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity:
For the first time ever, Huskies and Cougars are pitted against each other for the opportunity to make their mark on a Washington icon
As someone who has a view of the Space Needle but no real affiliation to either school, this makes me a little sad. Sort of like when the mama alien appeared on top of the Needle after the SFM opening.
Aah, now, I love it when they dress up the Needle. Except the golden-orange retro thing. That one admittedly bugged me. :)
