When was Mirror Mask playing and am I still able to see it in the future in a theatre or do I have to wait until it is relased?

I saw it last week as well, and found it utterly enchanting. Someone I know recently said that there are only 5 stories in the world (down from Shakespeare's 7); he'd merely see both MirrorMask and Labyrinth as being derivitives of that same sort of thing.

So yes, the story was very simple, but there was an incredible amount of magic to seeing McKean's art in motion.
