I think Albertson's may charge $10 per delivery. Is that in line with others? For that much, I can drive to the store and back about 85 times...

Maybe online grocery shopping is not for me.

I *heart* kozmo and miss it so.

Neat find and thanks for the deal, Kristin. My GF and I do a weekly market basket thing every summer and end up with huge piles of green things like 'bitters' that rot in our refrigerator while we thumb wrestle for the one (one!) organic peach that got thrown in just to start fights.

I am a Spud customer, and a friend of mine works there. They rock! If nothing else, the Harvest Boxes are great because you can pay week by week and adjust what's in them. You can just let them send you lots of in-season fresh stuff or you can pick and choose by adjusting on the website. I've long wanted to get produce boxes, say, from a CSA, but often they want six weeks paid up front or something. This is a bit more affordable for me.

They bring your big purple tub of stuff in a big purple van; the deliveries are somewhat more like delivering farm-share type of thing. (For instance, with HomeGrocer, you could pick the day and the time you got your stuff; SPUD just tells you what day they're going to be there.) They also throw in good stuff; the first week I got an ivory bell pepper, the next I got three russet potatoes.

Spud good. Also, if anyone wants to sign up, feel free to write to my email address given here and I'll give you a code to save $25 off your first four deliveries.
