grey’s anatomy : getting big

I think that our city’s obsession with Grey’s Anatomy [abc] has finally gone too far. Sure, KOMO adds non-newsworthy items about the show to keep people tuned in for the nightly newscast following the broadcast. But now interest in the ABC Sunday lineup has reached a new level. And that is the level of people going to movie theaters to watch it because their home entertainment system is not powerful enough to contain all of the medical drama.

This is all a way of letting you know that Seattle’s favorite bar/movie theater/community living room(s), the Big Picture will show Grey’s Anatomy on Sunday evenings at 10 pm. Tickets are free and can be obtained by calling the theater (206/256.0572) in advance. The doors open at 8 to allow everyone plenty of time to scope out good seats and start drinking.

Humorously enough, the Redmond location shows only Desperate Housewives, a dramedey concerned with the darker side of a cookie-cutter suburban neighborhood.
