Bargain Hunter: computer cables

For those of us tired of paying $30 for our USB cables, the city’s largest Goodwill store has long been a source of bargain technology finds in addition to vintage jeans. Sure, most of the connectors offered may belong to the reign of Bush the Elder rather than his son, but there’s no denying the appeal of $.99 power cables, $10 USB Zip drives, and DC power adaptors for $1.99. And you probably can’t even buy a live mouse cheaper than the multitude of pointing devices hanging by their tails in the photo above.
