Summer sports in fall

I know that it’s fall now, but that’s no reason for all of you beach volleyball players to despair. North Beach Volleyball has converted part of a hangar in Sand Point Magnuson Park into an indoor beach volleyball court filled with “top quality sand” and boasting 50′ ceilings. You can join a league, drop by for an evening with some friends, or even rent some space for the office Christmas party. (If you want to play on a league, though, you have to have an Arena Sports Membership. They’re $38/year and can be purchased, um, somewhere. At “all Arena Sports facilities”. Wherever those are.)

If you prefer to play your indoor beach volleyball for a cause, they will be having a tournament on November 5th with all of the proceeds going to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation [#]. Your registration is tax deductible and there will be t-shirts, door prizes, and trophies. And who doesn’t need an indoor beach volleyball trophy on their mantle?
