Grounds for a Boycott

Despite my shameless boosterism of the north Seattle neighborhood of Wedgwood, I feel a bit of journalistic obligation to cover the seamier side of Ravenna’s tamer neighbor. Timed to conicide with the opening of the ‘hood’s first Starbucks, protest posters now dot lightpoles along 35th Ave NE:

Perhaps a bit of the Seattle WTO-protest ethos has come to a neighborhood whose largest claim to fame had previously been a really nice libary and a glacial boulder.
