I'm surprised to hear about this altercation. I recently moved here from Cleveland, and I've been enjoying the friendliness of the city's drivers towards me as a cyclist - my only complaint is that sometimes drivers make themselves unpredictable by trying to cede priority to me when they're not supposed to, which is a pretty minor complaint.

Cyclists really really really shouldn't be on the sidewalk. Not only is it annoying to pedestrians, it's also less safe for us. The only people it benefits are impatient drivers.

Yes -- hence the use of 'feel' rather than 'do'

Yeah, me too. But I'm not in the habit of shouting. It isn't very nice.
