things you should know : baltic room movie night
Although it isn’t on their calendar, a few posters around town suggest that the Baltic Room will be showing Labyrinth at 5:30 on Thursday. Not that they need an excuse to screen the David Bowie & Jennifer Connelly Jim Henson film / unexpected sexual awakening device, but I’m sure there’s a good explanation. The event is a part of a free double feature (with the Dark Crystal) and the promise of drink specials.

Labyrinth and The Dark Crystal are two of my most favourite films from childhood. I hadn’t realised that it was Jeniffer Connelly in Labyrinth until you mentioned it.
