It just occurred to me that some people may not have obsessively followed ABC’s mid-season hit drama Grey’s Anatomy when new episodes played on Sunday nights last spring. Yet now that it’s summer, it’s possible that some readers might be using the re-run schedule to prepare themselves for the next wave of new episodes about the very dramatic lives of medical interns learning how not to kill people as they practice medicine in “Seattle”. For those who are just joining the fun, it seems appropriate that the metblog follow the network’s lead and indulge in a cycle of re-runs:

• Episode 9: “grey’s anatomy recap report: secrets and finales edition”

Of course, you could read the official and more accurate summaries on the ABC site, but they probably don’t engage in shifting recap convention, inconsistent nicknames, and occasional madness-driven forays into the “editorial we” that made these recaps a joy to write (and read, I’m sure).
