Kirkland was a zoo yesterday as everyone tried to squeeze themselves into one of its dozen or so lakeside parks. “Kelsey” over at the Argosy cruise proclaimed Sunday the “first day of summer” — that first heatwave beating down out of a completely cloudless blue sky. Meanwhile, everyone else was acting like they were never going to have another one of these days again.
