Mashiko in West Seattle is a must try (www.sushiwhore.com)! They have very creative rolls. I haven't had a bad bite at Mashiko's yet.

I too loved Nikko's at Westin for their exceptional all-you-can-eat fresh sushi lunch and happy-hour spread. However, Nikko's closed their establishment about 2 years ago. I do miss them dearly.

What about Nikko's inside the Westin? Their all you can eat lunch was an amazing steal. Daily specials varied, but overall some of the best Sushi I ever had while I lived there. Has it gone downhill or just overlooked?

Thanks! Yes, Blue C is not so for the top quality of the fish, but I have them on my list because I'm rather smitten with the kaiten (conveyor belt) revolving sushi and their pop Tokyo-esque chromatic environs.

Not to be contradictory..but my experiences at Blue C have been mixed...its acceptable for quick hop-in sushi, but you are not gonna get rocked by the fish. Its more about qantity I think.

Some other really good suggestions though, I gotta check em out. Awesome list!

Oh geez - ignore me. Of course I see the Bistro AFTER I post, nevermind the fact that I looked three times. I'll just blame it on the aforementioned school. ;)

Wasabi Bistro is excellent, or at least used to be. I haven't eaten there since December, since in addition to it being excellent sushi, it's expensive and generally outside the range of a broke college student.
