		<description>HA!  I had some really similar thoughts when I was getting on my plane in LA (Burbank).  I looked around, and there was the requisite REI gear on a good portion of the passengers, most of the other young women had that sweet bohemehippie flavor, and people were actually smiling to each other in the airport terminal!  (noone smiles in LA, and they tend to get quite offended if you smile at them)
