goody plans for the weekend

This morning I woke up wondering, “why have I not yet eaten any girl scout cookies yet this year?”. So I went to girlscouts.org to see if they had an answer to my question. I’m pleased to report that they are always prepared: the website states that our local Girl Scout Council is called “Totem Council” and their public sale runs from March 4th - 20th, 2005. If I can’t find them anywhere else, I know I’ll find them out in front of Evergreen Safeway.

Other cookie facts: The Samoa (one of my favourites) turns thirty this year. If you like Samoas too, then your personality — according to their cookie personality chart — is “Brainy, Complex, Mysterious.” Nyah to the Thin Mints people (Popular, Strong, Confident).

So, which kind of cookie personality are YOU?

I was downtown on Monday and noticed some corner cookie sales action on Pine.

If you are out and about in West Seattle, troop 2092 will be selling cookies at Metropolitan Market Friday night and Saturday & Sunday afternoons at the Admiral Safeway.

    Enjoy!
