sir bill?

Apparently being fantastically wealthy wasn’t enough. Seattle’s second favorite billionaire picked up an honorary knighthood in England this afternoon for “his charitable activities around the world and his contribution to high-tech enterprise in Britain.” [g&m] Naturally, this caused a certain amount of anger among technologically-inclined Brits [zd] who aren’t thrilled with honoring a convicted monopolist. As long as he doesn’t take to galavanting about town on horseback in a suit of armor and that it’s now Bill Gates KDE (vs. Sir Gates), I think we’ll be o.k. with the change.
