This whole ‘blogging thing often feels a little one-sided. We put text into a field and hope that you like it, or at least find it a welcome distraction from getting work done. Through the miracle of modern synergy [Ed: didn't we retire that word when the bubble burst? -- just doing my part to bring back the 90s], Metroblogging has partnered with Meetup to get readers and authors to hang out in public spaces.

We’re hoping that you’d like to have a pint and a slice on the fourth Tuesday of the month with some of us, happy hour style. The first big event is scheduled for 22 February at Piecora; so sign-up and pencil us in for 7 pm.
