    Great idea!

I’m happy to confirm that the crepes are as tasty as they look (at least the non-meat items — perhaps a carnivore will step in to comment on the ham?). When some friends and I met at Joe Bar before a movie across the street at Harvard Exit, there were positive reviews all around.

I’ve heard that Joe Bar’s coffee is allowed entry to the theater and wonder if the swelling lines have anything to do with showtimes.

(And this reminds me that I really need to get over there to see Almodovar’s Bad Education before its run ends. Pick up a cup of coffee and then catch a matinee …)

I didn’t mention this in my post, put Joe Bar is also right next to Kobo, the Japanese “artisan gallery”. It’s a gem of a store. I can’t afford most of beautiful things they sell, but I love stopping by to look.

The Ham, Egg and Cheese (jamon serrano, egg, gruyere) is excellent.
