Holy weirdness! I actually called that “unk odor” in! My wife and I were driving past lower Kinnear Park towards Ballard. We both smelled smoke, and she saw smoke. We didn’t know what was going on since we were driving, so we decided it best to call in. Maybe the homeless guys were burning leaves to keep warm? Who knows… Even better is why unknown is abbrebiated unk… That part is funny… :)
