Is it just me, or do other people find fighter jets screaming over the city to be more than an little unnerving? Call me crazy, but I prefer my air traffic on flight patterns to and from SeaTac, not outside my windows freaking me out. Angels or not, my overriding instinct is to run for cover when airplanes are doing flybys past my office.
I try to remind myself that it’s all in good fun (celebration of pirates? to remind us that it’s still Seafair? I’m really not sure) if not a bit more redstate than I expect from this city usual temperament.
